He recently had the opportunity to taste our full range of 2019 in bottle. We’re very proud to report that all of our wines have been rated over 90. This recognition demonstrates the constant rise of our various wines and cuvees along with the successful in-depth work of our team.

“Structured with layers of tannins that are chewy yet polished and powerful. Full-bodied yet remains intense. Currant and fresh flower flavors. Give it time to come together. 62% cabernet sauvignon, 35% merlot and the rest petit verdot. This needs time. Best ever? Try after 2024.”

Diane de Belgrave 2019: 91 points

“Firm and racy with some spices such as cloves and chili. Medium-bodied with firm tannins and a lightly chewy finish. Better after 2023.”

 

Château Le Boscq

Château Le Boscq 2019 : 94 points

“Intense and focused with cigar tobacco, cedar, spice and berry. Currant too. Medium- to full-bodied. The fruit is there at the beginning and then it takes off at the finish. Give this two or three years to soften and come together. Complex and long. Drink after 2024.”

“This second wine from Le Boscq shows very pretty berry, spice and stone character. Hints of dried tobacco. Medium-bodied. Medium-firm tannins. Needs time to soften. Drink after 2023.”

Château La Garde blanc 2019 : 93 points

“Aromas of peach, lemon curd and cooked apple follow through to a full body with creamy and layered palate with stone and mineral character. It’s persistent at the finish. Just the right amount of acidity and phenolic grip at the end. From organically grown grapes farmed sustainably. Almost all sauvignon blanc with a touch of semillion. Drink or hold. »

Terrasse de La Garde 2019: 91 points

“Very soft with a berry and chocolate character and hints of spiciness. Delicious now. Medium-bodied with round tannins and a creamy finish. Crisp acidity comes through at the end. Mostly merlot. Second wine of Chateau La Garde. Drink or hold.”

“This is one of the best Rahoul reds I have had with tile, smoke, berry and sweet tobacco. Medium-bodied with medium-round tannins and a flavorful finish. Direct and velvet-textured. 62% merlot, 35% cabernet sauvignon and 3% petite verdot. Drink in 2023 and onwards. »
