Third year as an Official Partner of the César Awards!

Château La Garde was proud to support this major cultural event as the wine supplier for the Gala Dinner following the ceremony on February 27. N°1 de Dourthe was also served during part of the festivities.

A meaningful commitment

This third consecutive participation reflects a conviction: wine, like cinema, is about heritage, emotion, and perspective. Two creations shaped by time, dedication, high standards, and the passion of the women and men who bring them to life.

Under the dazzling lights of the César Awards, the evening began in a festive and emotionally charged atmosphere. Presided over by Camille Cottin, it was brilliantly hosted by Benjamin Lavernhe, whose performance — both subtle and vibrant — will undoubtedly be remembered for years to come.

After the applause, the inspiring speeches, and the suspended moments on stage, the magic continued in a more intimate and warm setting. Guests then gathered at the iconic Fouquet’s for dinner, where conversations blended with laughter and memories of the ceremony. It was in this emblematic venue that they were able to discover and appreciate the wines of Château La Garde, extending the evening’s experience through a shared moment of tasting and conviviality.

Château La Garde Blanc 2023

Made almost exclusively from Sauvignon Blanc grown on limestone terroir, this wine captivated with its bright and finely chiseled profile. Citrus notes — lemon and grapefruit — gave the nose a fresh and expressive character. The palate, precise and taut, gained intensity throughout the tasting, culminating in a saline and juicy finish, the signature of the estate’s great white wines.

Château La Garde Rouge 2016

After nearly a decade in bottle, this great Cabernet Sauvignon–dominant wine revealed remarkable intensity. Its deep nose of ripe black fruit, enhanced by smoky and spicy notes, led into a full-bodied and structured palate with fine tannins and well-controlled density. A long, elegant finish completed the balance of this precise and generous wine.

La Terrasse de La Garde rouge 2022

This cuvée, created with sharing, spontaneity, and conviviality in mind, accompanied the evenings leading up to the Gala — the Revelations Dinner and the Nominees’ Dinner.

To ensure that the magic of cinema lives on after the ceremony, Château La Garde invites you to enjoy a unique experience within its natural haven, just two hours from Paris by train.
