Dourthe selected the « Sémillon 54 » plot at Château Rahoul, AOC Graves, for its clay-gravel soils, where Semillon is seen to thrive. Rich and creamy on the palate, the wine reveals notes of white fleshy fruits, and also delicate tropical flavours.
Food pairing
A wonderful match with scallop risotto, king prawns in a salt crust and lemongrass sauce, ‘poulet de Bresse’ chicken in vin jaune and morel mushrooms, or even a mature cheese platter.
