La Grande Cuvée Médoc originates from a selection of estates chosen over the years for their outstanding terroir and quality potential. Only the very best parcels are retained for their character and essentially their contribution to the harmony of the blend. Only the wines with the greatest promise are matured for 12 months in new French oak barrels in the Dourthe cellars.
Tasting notes
La Grande Cuvée Médoc boasts a wonderful purple colour with dark tones and an intense bouquet of red and black fruits. The wine is generous, full and concentrated on the palate, developing complex aromas of blackcurrant, cocoa and pepper, backed by ripe tannins that give way to a long, aromatic finish.
