N°1 Graves blanc is the result of a rigorous selection of the finest plots of Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon. From work in the vines to harvesting, the growers and Dourthe winemakers work hand in hand to create a wine that is perfectly structured, long, generous and well-balanced. Cold maceration and lees-ageing with regular stirring, reveals all the rich flavours of this grape variety duo.
Tasting notes
With its yellow-gold appearance, N°1 Graves White boasts a complex nose offering grapefruit and acacia notes. On the palate, the fruity and floral flavors are backed by a lovely acidity. Partial maturation in French oak barrels brings the wine a complex and delicate structure. A great freshness accompagnies the long, lingering finish.
