AOC Médoc

N°1 Médoc is born of the closing working partnership of the growers and the Dourthe winemakers. Through their shared expertise, only blocks most suited to Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon are identified. This meticulous work in the vineyard delivers optimal and consistent fruit quality. To maintain the high quality of this limited production wine, only parcels with the highest quality potential are retained for ageing.

Tasting notes

N°1 Médoc boasts a wonderful purple colour with darktones and an intense bouquet of red and black fruits. The wine is generous, full andconcentrated on the palate, developing complex aromas of blackcurrant, cocoa and pepper, backed by ripe tannins that give way to a long, aromatic finish.
